My September Birchbox was filled with mostly good products. I was very excited to get a Club Clio Kill Black liquid eyeliner! I was also happy to get a Tocca scrub in Bianca. I had gotten a Tocca Bianca perfume sample in a previous Birchbox and then decided to buy a full size bottle. I also was happy to receive dr. brant pores no more cleanser. I have gotten the pores no more vacuum cleaner mask before but I like the cleanser better. I also liked the Rene Futerer Absolue Keratine renewal leave-in cream. It is a hair-strengthening keratin treatment that helps restore health and beauty back into your hair.
However, I received a couple of products that I’m not too happy about. I got a Helmut Lang cuiron perfume sample that has a very strong and intense smell. I liked it at first, but over time I just couldn’t really fall in love with it. Maybe it would be better on a man. Anyway, I also received a bbrowbar highlighter which I am probably using wrong. I can’t quite figure out how to make this product look good on me. The product I really didn’t like was the ModelCo ultra long-lasting lipstick in Smitten. The cap was hard to remove, and when I opened the lipstick, the whole stick flew out and fell on my floor. After I cleaned it off, I tried on the color, which was really not for me. I have no idea if the color is long-lasting, because I removed it almost immediately off my lips. It was a really awful color on me.
I rate my September Birchbox as a 60+/40-. I was overall happy with my box mainly because of the Club Clio Kill Black eyeliner.
