I’ve been totally obsessed with Lush’s bath bombs ever since I bought one last month on impulse. Lush claims that they “… don’t just take baths; we appreciate them. We relish them …” They have some amazing products! Between their bath bombs, bubble bars, and luxury bath melts, you have a smorgasbord of indulgent products to make your baths not just an normal routine but a, “special occasion.”

Lush’s bath bombs fizz and bubble to release fragrant aromas and vibrant colors. Don’t worry, they use all natural and safe synthetic color dies so none of them ever stain your tub. Their bath bombs are a fun way of escaping from the world for a while, because they really help create an immersive bathing experience.

The bath bomb featured in these pictures is the Pink Bath Bomb. This bath bomb has a decadent sweet perfume with hints of vanilla and sweet candy. Its really amazing how adorably pink it makes your bath. This bath bomb also has little paper heart pieces at the center, so when it is finished fizzing, it leaves little lite pink and dark pink hearts floating in the bath water. It really adds a cute and delightful touch.

I’m getting a new kitten in about a week, but I’ve still been thinking a lot about my late cat Won Ton. She died young, she was only six years old when she got sick, and I miss her a lot. When I first got her I got her name tattooed on the inside of my wrist in Mandarin Chinese. Now that she’s gone, I wanted something beautiful around my wrist to represent heaven’s gates and the beautiful life I had with her, even if it was short lived.

I decided to go to Fun City Tattoo on the lower east side because it’s one of the oldest tattoo shops in the city still running, its been open since 1976. It got lots of great reviews online, and I even got a personal recommendation from a friend. I booked my tattoo with an artist named Andrew Mann, who is new to the Fun City Tattoo team, but did a great job with my tattoo.

I explained to him what I wanted, but that I didn’t bring a reference picture because I know the area is really small and I didn’t want to pick out something really intricate that couldn’t work as a tattoo. I just didn’t want to have a set idea in my head of what it was going to look like and then be disappointed that it can’t fit in that area or won’t look good. He then worked with me in picking out some design elements of gates that I liked, and then went to work on drawing up a tattoo. It didn’t take him long at all to design something beautiful but simple and classy. It only took possibly about an hour at most. I went with his suggestion of adding in some shading to add depth to the design, and I love the outcome of the final design. I’m really happy with my tattoo and the experience I had at Fun City Tattoo, and I would absolutely recommend it.

So, I found myself in Diptyque, which is a classy luxury candle and fragrance store, and they had burning a new scent for spring called Rosafolia and it engulfed me. Even though its still winter in NYC and it just seems to be getting colder, I needed to buy this candle to make me think its spring. It really does smell like fresh cut flowers. They also gave me a matching perfume sample, which I love because I love samples.

A close friend of mine got me a great bottle of rose over Christmas that I finally opened in celebration of finishing my finals. It was honestly the best rose I’ve ever had. It had just the right amount of sweetness, not too overpowering. I would highly recommend it for a romantic date or picnic.

I was out of my favorite facial moisturizer, philosophy’s take a deep breath, so I bought some online at Sephora. Philosophy also makes very simple and clean scents and I noticed online that they are making a new one, called live joyously. I have a client that’s an interior designer and whenever I wear a philosophy scent, she always asks me what I’m wearing and tells me I smell wonderful. The live joyously perfume is a very clean scent that has just the right amount of floral. It’s a very happy smell that isn’t too overpowering. I will probably be getting the body wash as soon as my very large bottle of pure grace is finished.

One of the best parts about ordering online at Sephora is anytime you order they offer you three samples. I selected a Fresh black tea firming overnight mask, a Jurlique herbal recovery night cream, and an Elizabeth and James nirvana white perfume sample. I also used some beauty rewards points to get a 0.5 fl oz sample of Caudalie premier cru la crème and a 0.33 fl oz sample of Caudalie premier cru the elixir.

The Caudalie cream is a heavy thick cream that really satisfies dry winter skin. The Caudalie elixir is another great solution for dry skin, and you don’t have to use a lot.

This is a selfie I took right before I washed my face right before bed. I spent the night out with a good friend at an intimate place called Angel’s Share on the lower east side. I just thought my eyeliner looked too good to not post.

Lush is a really amazing place. They make all natural skin care and bathing products that smell wonderful. The store can be a little overwhelming because their products smell so strong, and the combination of all those strong scents can be a little too much for some people. I know I never went into the store myself because of the strong odor until I got a personal recommendation from a friend to try them.

Their bath bombs and bubble bars are mind blowing. Their bath bombs fizz into a bubbly lather and have immersive scents. They really create a bathing experience. Their bubble bars create thick huge bubbles and leave your skin feeling extremely soft.

The de-stress massage oil is my favorite product. I bought it after I had a massage on a cruise. It has a great soothing scent that really helps relax you.

The tranquil touch body cream has a sultry scent that relaxes you immediately. It is a luxuriously rich body cream that deeply moisturizes. It’s a great nighttime body cream.

The quiet mind temple balm is an awesome product. You apply a small amount to your temples, the back of your ears, and other hot spots to surround your self with the scent. I use it right be before bed and it helps me get to sleep.
