BeautyCon NYC 2015

BeautyCon NYC was yesterday, and it was an overwhelming and exciting experience. I had never heard of BeautyCon before I saw the Living Social deal, but the price was right and it seemed like a fun event to go to. I got tickets through the Living Social deal in July, and it was a good thing I got them early too because it was a sold out event.

Although I had a great time, purchased some great products, and would probably go again next year; I have a few negative comments to make about the event.

Rejuvamist Facial Steamer

The Rejuvamist Facial Steamer is a powerful little machine that produces a significant amount of steam. I purchased the steamer from Living Social for $80, but it sells on Lashem for $150. It is a lot to spend on something as unnecessary as a facial steamer, but I was very impressed by its professional quality and the amount of steam it produces. Although completely unnecessary and it takes up a lot of space, I am glad I purchased this item.

September Birchbox

My September Birchbox was filled with mostly good products. I was very excited to get a Club Clio Kill Black liquid eyeliner! I was also happy to get a Tocca scrub in Bianca. I had gotten a Tocca Bianca perfume sample in a previous Birchbox and then decided to buy a full size bottle. I also was happy to receive dr. brant pores no more cleanser. I have gotten the pores no more vacuum cleaner mask before but I like the cleanser better. I also liked the Rene Futerer Absolue Keratine renewal leave-in cream. It is a hair-strengthening keratin treatment that helps restore health and beauty back into your hair.
