November Birchbox

I got my November Birchbox in the mail yesterday, and I wanted to show it to you guys. Yes, I have already opened it, but I have yet to use any of the products in the box.

First, I just want to point out how pretty the box is. Last month I got a plain jane brown box, but this month’s box had a sophisticated turquoise rose print on it. The items in the box also came rapped in deep purple colored paper. This box is definitely a keeper, for what I’m not sure yet, but I’ll figure out something to put in it.

The November box is all about indulgence and pampering. One of my favorite items of this month’s box is the Dr. Jart Water Replenishment Sheet Mask. I’ve been completely obsessed with sheet masks lately, and I’m so happy I got one in my box this month. This sheet mask is loaded with a hydrating serum that’s great for nourishing dry, parched skin.

This month’s box is really exciting to me, and should be to all YouTubers, because it includes a full size beauty product from the new Birchbox brand that comes in colors that are curated by YouTube beauty star Tati Westbrook! The “One & Done Shadow Stick” is a creaseless, waterproof eye shadow stick. The color I got is called “On Point,” and its a dark nude that is great for the daytime. I’m going to keep this in my purse and use it when I’m running late to work. This product is such a great idea, and I’m really happy with the color I received!

My November box also had a Davines “This is a relaxing moisturizing fluid” sample. This hair cream adds shine, eliminates frizz, moisturizes and preps hair for heat styling tools. I love every Davines product I have ever tried, so I’m really excited to try this out. It has a smooth consistency and a great fragrance with hints of coconut oil.

Last but not least, I received a Ayres Body Polish in “Pampas Sunrise.” This body polish goes on smoothly and rinses off cleanly, leaving behind only soft, fantastic-smelling skin. This product does in fact smell fantastic! Its a fresh citrus fragrance with lemongrass and hints of patchouli. It smells like a product you would find at spa. I also have to point out the appealing packaging of this product. It comes in a container that looks like an old fashioned medicine jar, and has great graphic design on the labeling. I really appreciate it when companies take the time to really think about the packaging and how it will attract customers.

Those were all the items that were in my November Birchbox this month. I realize that there were less items in this box than there were in my October box, however, I’m overall happier with getting less items, but products that I love and that I know I will use, rather than getting a bunch of items I’m not excited about and end up taking up space in my makeup drawers.
